Graduate Professional College 

The Nigerian College of Accountancy is a Post Graduate Professional College setup to train  Nigerian accountant graduates into matured and seasoned accountants. The College is the training arm of Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN).

The organization charged among other things, with the duty of advancing the science of Accountancy in Nigeria, determining the standards of knowledge and skill to be attained by persons seeking to become members of the accounting profession, and promoting the highest standards of competence, practice and conduct among members of the Profession.

Our Mission 

To build a Center of Excellence for the teaching of Accountancy, not only in Nigeria, but also in Africa, which will serve as the Cradle of Professionalism and the best in professional practice, and to inculcate Standards of Integrity, probity, honesty and good conscience in the practice of the  profession.

Six Zonal Campuses

The College established campuses in Abuja, Awka, Lagos, Kano, Maiduguri and Uyo to bring the program close to students. The requisite qualifications are the same as in regular courses in both the professional and conversion program at the main campus in Jos, Plateau State.

Application forms at the cost of N10,000 are obtainable at the Main Campus, ANAN National Secretariat and from Chairmen of ANAN State Branches in the six campuses. Only Application Forms duly completed and returned with all relevant documents, not later than a stipulated date each year, will be considered for admission in the coming session.

Professional Membership

Graduates of the College are qualified to engage in the Accountant-ln-Training (AIT) Program for .two years (24 months) after which they can apply to become full members of the Association as Certified National Accountant (CNA). To qualify for public practice, the prospective applicant must obtain practicing license after meeting conditions stipulated by ANAN Council.

CENTRE FOR FRAUD MANAGEMENT AND FORENSIC ACCOUNTING

ANAN Council moves to establish a special centre in support of education and training on forensic accounting  and fraud management.

NCA is one of the higher education partners of Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, USA.

 a) The Professional Program is a nine-month intensive training for holders of HND or B.Sc degree in accounting or graduates of our conversion program, and

b) The Conversion Program is also a nine-month intensive training for holders of HND or B.Sc degree in accounting and related courses such as Banking and Finance, business administration/ Management and Economics to prepare them for entry to the Professional Program.
